The Guitar Family

The guitar family is a catogory of instuments that are also known as the lute family. This category contains most plucked string instruments that are played by plucking the strings so that it vibrates and releases sound. You can pluck the strings with either your fingers or with a plectrum A.K.A. a pick. I while be giving you a brief background about the Classical Guitar, Acoustic guitar, Electric guitar, and the basss guitar. These are not the only intuments in the guitar family but these are the most known. Mostly all the instruments with a neck and string that you can pressure and strum to change the tone are part of the guitar family. I will explain the differences of each and why they are all in the guitar family.
